The Studland Stampede is a challenging 12K race through the distinctive coastal landscape of Studland Bay in Dorset. Starting and finishing at Knoll Beach, the route takes runners across open heathland and sandy beaches, with impressive views towards Old Harry Rocks, Brownsea Island, Poole Harbour and the Isle of Wight.

Runners can expect a demanding mixed terrain course where changing natural surfaces play a major part in the challenge. Heathland paths, sandy tracks and sections of beach provide plenty of variety, with the tough sandy miles requiring determination as the race progresses. The combination of uneven trails, soft sand and exposed coastal terrain makes the course considerably more testing than its distance alone might suggest.
