The Street 5K is a long running road race organised by Wells City Harriers, forming part of a six race series held from October to March. The programme also includes junior 1K and 2K races.
The 5K follows five laps of a town centre circuit through Street, with runners passing the timing clock at the start of each kilometre to monitor their progress. The roads remain open to traffic, with marshals positioned around the course to guide and support runners.
Runners can enter individual 5K races or take on the full series, with five of the six fixtures required to complete it. Prizes are awarded at each race across a range of categories, alongside overall awards at the end of the series.
