The Strathpeffer Games Race takes place as part of the Strathpeffer Highland Games and starts from the grounds of Castle Leod in Strathpeffer, Highland. Covering approximately 6.5 kilometres with around 260 metres of ascent, the race combines a rewarding hill challenge with the atmosphere of one of Scotland's traditional Highland Games.

The course climbs onto the hills overlooking Strathpeffer before descending back towards the Games field, providing a classic Highland hill race with panoramic views across the surrounding countryside. The varied terrain and sustained climb create an enjoyable challenge for experienced hill runners while also offering an accessible introduction to Highland Games hill racing.
