The Strathearn Marathon takes place in the heart of Perthshire, starting and finishing at Cultybraggan Camp near Comrie. Organised by Strathearn Harriers, the event has earned a reputation for its friendly atmosphere, scenic setting and challenging course.

The officially measured marathon route follows quiet roads through the Strathearn countryside, featuring approximately 500 metres of ascent. After an opening lap of Cultybraggan Camp, runners head through Glen Artney before continuing along rural roads towards Braco and Crieff. The course then returns via Comrie, offering a varied and picturesque tour of the Perthshire landscape.

Combining marathon distance with rolling terrain, rural scenery and strong local support, the Strathearn Marathon provides a rewarding challenge and a distinctive alternative to larger city marathons.
