The Scenic 7 is a seven mile road race through the Suffolk countryside, starting from Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre in Stowmarket. The route heads through Onehouse and Harleston before completing a three mile loop and returning towards Stowmarket.
Runners follow a relatively flat course with only a couple of undulations, providing a fast and accessible seven mile road race. The accurately measured route follows country roads through the surrounding villages before retracing the opening section on the way to the finish, offering plenty of opportunity to settle into a consistent pace.
Organised by Stowmarket Striders, the Scenic 7 is an established fixture in the Suffolk running calendar and forms part of the Suffolk Grand Prix. Finishers receive a race memento, with individual, age category and team prizes also awarded.
