The Stour Valley Path 100K Ultra Run takes place on Saturday 8th August 2026, following almost the full length of the Stour Valley Path from Newmarket in Suffolk to Cattawade near Manningtree in Essex. The event is one of East Anglia’s longest point-to-point trail races and offers both a 100K and 50K option.
The route travels through the picturesque Stour Valley, passing through landscapes made famous by artists including John Constable and Thomas Gainsborough. Around 95% of the course is trail, with runners tackling footpaths, woodland, fields and countryside tracks along an undulating route.
The event provides fully supported checkpoints, food and drink stations, medical support and transport options for runners who need to withdraw. Finishers receive a medal and T-shirt, with UTMB Index points available for successful completions within the cut-off time.
