The route is an exciting mix of road and trail, firstly taking runners on a tour of greater Stornoway then onto the beautiful forest trails of the Lews Castle Grounds. Don’t worry the trails are very runnable and suitable for road shoes!
The Half Marathon starts and finishes right in the heart of the town centre on the inner harbour next to the marina which is always full of cheering fans and a great atmosphere.
