Stockland Scamper is a community running event organised by Ruby Red Events in partnership with Stockland Primary Academy PTA, offering 10K, 5K and 3K races through the countryside around Stockland near Honiton.
The main 10K follows a challenging route across farmland, rural lanes and countryside footpaths, with steep hills, muddy sections and river crossings providing a demanding off road experience. The Stockland Scuttle 5K offers a shorter but still hilly and muddy challenge, while the Stockland Scurry 3K follows a gentler route predominantly through open fields, welcoming runners of all ages.
The event is licensed by the Trail Running Association and held under UK Athletics rules, with marked routes and marshals supporting participants. Stockland Village Hall provides race headquarters, with refreshments and homemade cakes sold by the school PTA. The combination of challenging countryside routes and community involvement gives the event its distinctive character.
