The ABP Humber Coastal Half Marathon, 10K and Family Fun Run returns to Cleethorpes on 21 September, promising a day of seaside running with something for everyone. Now just weeks away, places are still available, but organisers urge runners to sign up quickly!

Set in the heart of the much-loved resort, the races offer fast, flat and scenic courses, perfect for chasing a personal best or simply soaking up the coastal views. Both the half marathon and 10K take in stunning stretches along the Humber Estuary, with the finish line on the central promenade providing a spectacular backdrop of sand, sea and cheering spectators. The flat terrain and supportive atmosphere make it a great choice for runners of all abilities.

The half marathon route combines coastal paths, roads and countryside trails, passing an RSPB reserve and offering a mix of open views and local landmarks. The 10K follows a similar theme, with roads, footpaths and promenade sections delivering a refreshing coastal running experience.

Every finisher will be rewarded with a medal and a seaside donut, with the option to purchase a technical event t-shirt. Adding to the day’s inclusive feel is the one-mile Family Fun Run, open to all ages and abilities. The fun run will also raise funds for a local charity, to be announced soon.
