The Standard Chartered Jersey Marathon is an island road running event starting and finishing at Weighbridge Place in the heart of St Helier. The programme includes the full Marathon, a team Relay Race and the Marathon Mile, bringing together competitive runners, teams, families and younger participants.
Marathon runners follow an officially measured course from St Helier through Jersey's country lanes, paved tracks and traffic controlled roads. The route showcases different parts of the island while providing a fully supported marathon challenge, with chip timing, water and fuelling stations, medical support and marshals along the course. The event operates under a UK Athletics licence.
The Relay Race covers the marathon course in teams of two or five, while the Marathon Mile follows a shorter route through the streets of St Helier. All three events return to the Weighbridge finish, where the central location and strong local support help create the event's distinctive atmosphere.
