St Anne's Carnival 5K

The St Annes Carnival 5K is organised by Lytham St Annes Road Runners and takes place as part of the annual St Annes Carnival. Alongside the accurately measured 5K, the event also includes a 1.5K junior race, bringing runners of all ages together on the Lancashire coast.

The flat 5K starts on the traffic free promenade before heading towards Fairhaven Lake on wide seafront paths. The accurately measured route is fully marshalled and distance marked throughout, providing fast running conditions with attractive coastal views. The junior race follows a fully off road route on the promenade.

Marshals, clear course marking and a well organised race day help create an enjoyable experience for all participants. Finishers receive a commemorative race souvenir, with cash prizes awarded to the leading male and female runners and a welcoming carnival atmosphere adding to this popular coastal event.
