St Andrew's Day Run is organised by Up and Running Events and brings 5K and 10K races to Kelvingrove Park in Glasgow's West End. The event celebrates Scotland's national day with a welcoming atmosphere and Scottish themed activities throughout the day.
Both races use a fully marked 2.5K course through the park, with 5K runners completing two laps and the 10K completing four. The route follows park paths with gentle changes in elevation, while the compact format provides plenty of opportunities for spectator support. Both main races start together, with Scottish themed stops and music adding to the atmosphere.
A 2K Kids Race and free 100m Toddler Dash complete the programme for younger runners and families. The 5K and 10K are chip timed, with marshals, kilometre markers, hydration stations and first aid support. Finishers receive a St Andrew's Day medal and goody bag, with free race photography also included.
