The Spilsby Show 10K is a chip timed road race held as part of the annual Spilsby Show in Lincolnshire. Organised in association with Skegness and District Running Club, the event combines competitive racing with one of the county's best known agricultural shows, giving runners the opportunity to enjoy both on the same day.
Starting and finishing at Spilsby Recreation Ground, the accurately measured 10K follows quiet rural roads through the surrounding Lincolnshire countryside before returning to the showground. The route provides an enjoyable road running challenge, with prizes awarded to the leading men and women and a medal and drawstring bag presented to every finisher.
First held in 1998, the race has grown from a local fun run into a fully affiliated event with chip timing and a strong reputation among runners across the region. Entry includes admission to the Spilsby Show, making it a distinctive summer event that combines road racing with a traditional county show atmosphere.
