Brutal Spider Hill is a challenging off road running event at Long Valley near Aldershot, Hampshire. The event features 5K and 10K trail races through woodland, open ground and muddy terrain, with plenty of hills and water crossings along the way.
The 10K follows a single lap through some of the course's best known features, including Alligator Swamp, Swan Lake, Muddy Mile and Duck Pond. Runners face steep climbs, marshes, wet ground and fast descents throughout the route. The 5K follows a shorter version of the course while still including the mud, water and hills that make Brutal events distinctive.
Both distances start together, with registration taking place at the event arena before the race. The challenging natural terrain provides a demanding trail running experience for participants looking to test themselves beyond a conventional road race.
