The Spartan Midlands Weekend is one of the UK's flagship obstacle course racing festivals, held at Belvoir Castle in Lincolnshire. The weekend features Sprint 5K, Super 10K and Beast 21K races, alongside children's races and endurance challenges, welcoming both first time participants and experienced Spartans.
The routes combine natural trails, woodland, fields and rolling countryside with Spartan's signature obstacle challenges. Runners tackle a demanding mix of climbs, technical terrain and obstacles designed to test strength, endurance, agility and resilience, with the Sprint offering an accessible introduction and the Beast providing a substantial endurance challenge. The event forms a Spartan Trifecta Weekend, giving competitors the opportunity to complete the Sprint, Super and Beast over a single weekend.
