The Southampton Running Festival takes place in Southampton Common, with Half Marathon, 10K and 5K races following multi lap routes through woodland, grassland, wetlands, lakes and open parkland. A Junior Race is also held, making the event suitable for runners of all ages.
Organised by RunThrough, the event features accurately measured courses with kilometre markers, chip timing, marshals throughout the route and a central event village at Southampton Common. The varied park setting provides a traffic free environment while remaining close to the city centre.
The Southampton Running Festival offers a choice of distances on scenic mixed terrain routes, providing an excellent opportunity for runners to race, improve their fitness or work towards a personal best in one of Southampton's best known green spaces.
