The South Molton Struggle is an 8 mile mixed terrain race based at Riverside Caravan Park in South Molton. The course combines farm tracks, paths, open fields, woodland and sections of tarmac, creating a varied route through the North Devon countryside.
Runners face a hilly course with slippery off road sections adding to the challenge, making trail shoes a recommended choice. The route is fully marshalled and includes a drinks station, with the combination of climbs, changing surfaces and countryside running providing a testing 8 mile race.
Race HQ and the start and finish are based at Riverside Caravan Park, with registration, bag drop and changing facilities available on site. The event also features overall, age category and team prizes, with facilities for runners available after the race.
