Snodsbury Runs Again
Runners in Worcestershire, get ready to hit the trails this June...
Runners are gearing up for the return of the Snodsbury Scoot and Scramble on 22 June. Held in the heart of Worcestershire at Upton Snodsbury Park, this much-loved multi-terrain event will see participants make the most of the great outdoors while supporting local charities.
The Snodsbury Scramble kicks off at 11am, offering runners a 10K route (roughly) through stunning countryside. The scenic course winds through footpaths, bridleways, meadows, and tracks with plenty of twists and turns, including gates, stiles and a bridge to navigate.
Before the main race, younger runners can take part in the Snodsbury Scoot. This 1.2K multi-terrain dash is perfect for children, following a single-lap route around a private field. It’s a fun and inclusive way to introduce little ones to running while being part of the day’s excitement.
The event has had a huge impact on the local community, with funds raised over the past two years helping to install new play equipment in Upton Snodsbury Park. All proceeds from this year’s races will continue to be split between USPRA and The Grace Kelly Childhood Cancer Trust, ensuring the event makes a difference both locally and beyond.
With its mix of challenging terrain, community spirit and a stunning rural setting, the Snodsbury Scoot and Scramble is a must for runners of all ages. Organisers say: "Our race is very reasonably priced with an awesome medal and some great community spirit at the end."
