Sir Titus Summer Trot starts and finishes beside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal near Salts Mill in Saltaire. The predominantly flat towpath route offers distances from 5K to Ultra Marathon, making it suitable for runners of all abilities while passing through the scenic surroundings of the UNESCO World Heritage village.
Organised by It's Grim Up North Running under Trail Running Association rules, the event provides regular feed stations approximately every three miles, marshalled routes, toilets at the start and finish, and a bespoke finisher's medal with post-race refreshments. The venue is easily accessible by train, with Saltaire station just a short walk from the start.
Sir Titus Summer Trot combines flat canal towpaths with a choice of distances from 5K to Ultra Marathon, offering runners the opportunity to enjoy traffic free trail running through one of West Yorkshire's most distinctive settings.
