This Ultra crosses the entire width of the Lake District National Park and starts alongside the Northern Traverse in St. Bees on the west coast. The route traverses Ennerdale, Borrowdale, over Grasmere Common, past Grisedale Tarn, through Patterdale, over Kidsty Pike and along Haweswater to finish at Shap.
