The Silsoe Stride is a community running event offering 5K and 10K races through the grounds of Wrest Park and the surrounding Bedfordshire countryside.
Starting and finishing at Wrest Park, both multi terrain routes combine estate tracks, farmland paths and countryside trails through the historic parkland and neighbouring farmland. The gently undulating 5K welcomes runners, joggers, walkers and Nordic walkers, while the 10K provides a longer challenge with some additional hills.
The senior races are chip timed, with well marshalled routes and finisher medals. Children's races complete the programme, creating a family-friendly day of running. Organised by local volunteers and village groups, the Silsoe Stride also raises funds for organisations within the local community.
