Silsoe Stride 10K, 5K & Kids Fun Run

The Silsoe Stride is a popular community running event offering scenic 5K and 10K races through the magnificent grounds of Wrest Park and the surrounding Bedfordshire countryside. Organised by local volunteers and village groups, the event raises funds for community organisations while providing an enjoyable day of running for participants of all abilities.

Starting and finishing at Wrest Park, both multi terrain routes follow a mixture of estate tracks, farmland paths and countryside trails through historic parkland and neighbouring farmland. The gently undulating 5K welcomes runners, joggers, walkers and Nordic walkers, while the 10K offers a more challenging route with a few additional hills, creating rewarding options for both newcomers and experienced runners.

With well marshalled routes, chip timing for the senior races, finisher medals and a friendly village atmosphere, the Silsoe Stride is an enjoyable day out for runners and families alike. Children's races complete the programme, making it one of Bedfordshire's most welcoming community running events.
