Ramathon Bigger & Better Than Ever In 2022

If you're going to do a run in Derby, make it the Ramathon or RAM 5 Mile...

Take your place on the start line on Sunday 19 June and experience the best of the city of Derby as you make it around the flat and fast course of the Ramathon. Starting in the city and heading out past Elvaston Castle and Pride Park Stadium, it's easy to see why Ramathon is the region's most loved half marathon.

The Ramathon is the oldest and biggest event of its kind in Derbyshire. It was organised for the first time by Run for All in 2018 and has proved to be an extremely popular addition to their events calendar, attracting thousands of runners and raising loads of cash for good causes.

This year the event will be bigger and better than ever. The exciting new route starts and finishes in Iron Gate close to Derby Cathedral and takes in Pride Park Stadium, Alvaston Park and the stunning scenery of Elvaston Castle Country Park. The course is fast and flat and a fantastically vibrant atmosphere on the day is guaranteed

If you fancy a shorter distance, take on the RAM 5 Mile! Back for a second year running, this event offers the chance to tackle a 5-mile route while still soaking up the atmosphere of the half marathon.

Both events are for everyone – whether you are an experienced runner or just starting out, organisers welcome all abilities to take on the 13.1-mile or the 5 mile challenges. Fundraise for a special cause or chase a PB - regardless of your goal or reason organisers hope to see you on the start line this June.
