The Severn Bridges 10K is a road race in the heart of Shrewsbury, starting and finishing in The Quarry Park beside the River Severn. The route begins with a loop of the park before heading out along the river and returning across a series of bridges to the finish.
Runners follow a scenic town centre course shaped by the River Severn, with riverside stretches and repeated bridge crossings giving the race its distinctive character. The England Athletics affiliated event welcomes runners of all abilities and has a generous 12:30pm cut off.
Organised by Shropshire Shufflers, the Severn Bridges 10K is a not for profit event with surplus funds donated to charity. All finishers receive a medal, with an on course water station and additional water available at the finish.
