Severn Bridge 5 Night Race is an evening running event organised by Rogue Runs, taking participants across the iconic Severn Bridge between Wales and England. The event features a measured 5 mile route across the bridge and back, creating a distinctive running experience above the Severn Estuary after dark.
The officially measured 5 mile road course follows the pedestrian accessways of the old Severn Bridge, entirely on tarmac. The out and back route provides a memorable setting for runners of different abilities, with chip timing, live results and the added challenge of changing weather conditions. The exposed bridge crossing adds a unique element to this evening road race.
Race headquarters are located at The Underpass near the Chepstow end of the bridge, with access from Junction 2 of the M48. Participants receive a medal, with cake and hot drinks available after finishing. Prizes are awarded to leading finishers and age category winners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of this popular evening race.
