Salomon Serpent Trail

The Serpent Trail is a trail running festival organised by Freedom Racing, offering a choice of 10K, 20K, 50K, 75K and 100K races along the renowned Serpent Trail through the South Downs National Park. The point to point routes showcase some of the South East's finest landscapes, following ancient woodland, lowland heath, greensand hills and picturesque countryside from Surrey into Hampshire.

Each distance explores a different section of the Serpent Trail, with the 100K covering the full route from Haslemere to Petersfield. The varied terrain features sandy trails, woodland tracks, heathland paths and quiet country lanes, creating an enjoyable challenge for experienced trail runners, first time ultrarunners and walkers on selected distances.

With fully marked routes, chip timing, well stocked checkpoints, coach transport to the race starts, camping and an inclusive event village, the Serpent Trail has become one of the UK's premier summer trail running events, combining outstanding organisation with some of the most distinctive scenery in southern England.
