The Lindsays National Cross Country Relay Championships bring clubs from across Scotland to Cumbernauld for one of the major fixtures of the cross country season. Teams compete across young athlete, senior and masters categories, with national titles at stake and every runner contributing to their club’s overall performance.

Runners take on the established course at Cumbernauld House Park, where hills, mud and varied parkland terrain create a demanding setting for cross country racing. The relay format adds another dimension to the competition, with positions changing throughout the races as teammates take their turn on the course.

Team competition is at the heart of the championships, creating a lively atmosphere as clubs gather around the course to support their runners. Athletes from different age groups and clubs come together for a distinctive day of national championship racing in one of Scottish cross country’s best known settings.
