Starting and finishing at the Football Field on Banks Lane, the flat 10K route circles the scenic Scorton Lakes, using a mixture of paths and trails with a small lap incorporated into the course before returning to the finish.
Organised as part of the annual Scorton Feast celebrations, the event features chip timing, distance markers, water stations and refreshments including a hot drink and cake for every finisher. Prizes are awarded after the race, with proceeds supporting Target Ovarian Cancer and Herriot Hospice Homecare while contributing to the long running community festival.

Its combination of scenic lakeside trails and village atmosphere makes it a popular summer event for runners of all abilities.
