The multi lap course follows flat tarmac roads around the lake, providing a completely traffic free environment with long straight sections and minimal elevation. The consistent surface and flat profile offer excellent conditions for runners targeting a personal best as well as those tackling their first Half Marathon.
The route provides open views across the lake and surrounding parkland at the venue used for rowing and canoe sprint events during the London 2012 Olympic Games.
