The Run Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K July is organised by RunThrough and takes place at Dorney Lake near Windsor. This is the first Dorney Lake Half Marathon, 10K and 5K event of July, with a second event later in the month, giving runners an additional opportunity to race at this renowned Olympic venue.
The accurately measured road courses follow flat, traffic free laps around Dorney Lake on smooth tarmac roads. The Half Marathon completes four laps with a short turnaround section on each lap, while the 10K covers two laps and the 5K a single lap, providing fast and consistent running conditions beside the rowing lake.
Professional chip timing, marshals, free race photography and post race refreshments help deliver a well organised event. All finishers receive a themed medal, creating a welcoming atmosphere at one of the country's most popular road running venues.
