The Lee Valley VeloPark event takes place on the one mile road circuit at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, with Half Marathon, 10 Mile, 10K, 5K and 1 Mile races, alongside a junior event. The gently undulating tarmac course follows the floodlit circuit used within the London 2012 Olympic venue, with longer distances completed over multiple laps.
Organised by RunThrough, the event features chip timing with mile split results, themed finisher medals, free race photography, post race refreshments and a fully supported event village. Marshals are positioned around the course to guide runners, while food and drink facilities are available throughout the venue.
The Lee Valley VeloPark event brings together a choice of race distances, accurate chip timing and a purpose built road circuit, giving runners the opportunity to race, pace or achieve a personal best in a unique Olympic setting.
