Lee Valley Velo Park April is organised by RunThrough at Lee Valley VeloPark in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, East London. Part of a programme of races held at the venue throughout the year, the April event offers Half Marathon, 10 mile, 10K, 5K and 1 mile distances, alongside a supporting junior race.

All distances use the venue's distinctive one mile road circuit, originally developed as part of the London 2012 Olympic cycling facilities. The smooth tarmac course features a series of undulations and sweeping bends, with runners completing multiple laps according to their chosen distance. The enclosed circuit provides a traffic free racing environment, with frequent opportunities for spectators to follow the action and encourage participants.

Chip timing records individual mile splits, allowing runners to monitor their performance throughout the race. Water is available at the end of every lap, with marshals supporting participants around the circuit. Finishers receive a themed medal, refreshments and free official race photography, while an event village provides baggage storage, toilets and other facilities.
