Running GP Oulton Park is organised by RunThrough and offers a range of road races on the Oulton Park motor racing circuit near Tarporley in Cheshire.
Runners can choose from 5K, 10K, Half Marathon, 20 Mile, Metric Marathon and Marathon distances, all using the smooth tarmac of the traffic free race circuit. The gently undulating course provides an unusual opportunity to run on a venue better known for motor racing, with each distance completing laps of the circuit.
The closed circuit creates controlled racing conditions, with distance markers and marshals around the course and regular opportunities for spectator support. The Metric Marathon covers 26.2K, providing an intermediate challenge between the Half Marathon and longer distances.
All races are chip timed. Finishers receive a themed medal, with free race photography and post race goodies also included.
