Running GP Croft Motor Circuit is organised by RunThrough in partnership with Darlington Harriers and Athletics Club, with distances from 5K to Marathon at Croft Circuit near Darlington.
Runners can choose from 5K, 10K, 10 Mile, Half Marathon, 20 Mile, Metric Marathon and Marathon distances. The races use the smooth tarmac of the traffic free motor racing circuit, providing controlled conditions and an unusual setting for road racing. The Metric Marathon covers 26.2K, bridging the gap between the Half Marathon and longer distances.
Croft has a long history of motorsport and has hosted events including the British Touring Car Championship and British Rallycross. The running courses are accurately marked, with marshals positioned around the circuit.
All races are chip timed, with free race photography, post race goodies and a themed finisher medal. A Kids Mile is also included in the event programme.
