Run Wild at London Zoo is a family friendly running event in London featuring 1 Mile and 5K routes through London Zoo and Regent’s Park. Taking place before the zoo opens to the public, the event offers a unique running experience surrounded by animal enclosures, parkland paths and the atmosphere of one of London’s best known attractions.
The 1 Mile route is designed for younger runners and families, staying entirely within the zoo grounds, while the 5K combines sections inside London Zoo with a wider loop through Regent’s Park before returning to the finish. Both routes are suitable for different abilities and create a relaxed and inclusive event atmosphere.
Organised by ZSL, the event supports wildlife conservation projects focused on endangered species including tigers. With zoo access included after the run and strong family participation throughout the morning, the event combines running with a memorable day out in central London.
