Sapiston 5K & 10K Trail Runs

The Sapiston Trail Runs offer a choice of 5K and 10K distances through the picturesque Black Bourn Valley near Honington and Sapiston. Organised by Run Breckland, the event showcases local footpaths, byways and rights of way, encouraging runners to explore some of Suffolk's most attractive rural landscapes.

Both routes follow undulating mixed terrain loops combining trails, woodland tracks, grass paths, fields, stony sections and quiet road links. The 5K route includes a short section alongside the Black Bourn river, while the longer 10K course extends further into the surrounding countryside. Participants can expect a varied trail running experience with changing surfaces and scenic views throughout.

Starting and finishing at Honington and Sapiston Village Hall, the event provides a welcoming atmosphere for runners of all abilities.
