A Right Royal Running Festival

The beautiful Balmoral Estate on Deeside will host its annual festival of running over the weekend of 18-19 April 2020. This will be the 23rd year of the popular Run Balmoral event which attracts more than 5,000 competitors of all ages.

The Saturday programme features the Stena Drilling Tartan 10K, the Conoco Phillips 5K, the Secondary School 2.5K and the MPH Primary School 1.5K races whilst Sunday's races include the Apollo Duathlon, the Bristow 15 Mile Trail Race and the Bristow 3 Mile Trail Race.

2020 will also see the return of the Devil O' Deeside Challenge, which is supported by Repsol Sinopec. To dance with the Devil you have to complete the Stena Drilling 10K, ConocoPhillips 5K, Bristow 15 Mile Trail race and the Apollo Duathlon! The winners are those with the fastest cumulative times from the four races.

All races are held on traffic-free courses within the spectacular setting of the grounds of Balmoral Castle. There’s a fantastic atmosphere on both race days and it’s a great opportunity for the whole family to take part. The vibrant event village offers a range of other fun opportunities as well as quality catering outlets.
