Results Organiser
The North District Cross Country Relay Championships bring clubs from across northern Scotland together for team racing at Bught Park in Inverness. The event includes separate relay competitions for younger athletes and for senior, U20 and masters runners.
The younger races are contested by teams made up of U14, U16 and U18 athletes, with three runners each completing a 2.5K leg. The senior and U20 women's races use three 4K legs, while the senior and U20 men's races use four 4K legs. Masters teams also compete over the 4K relay course.
Each runner completes their leg before handing over to the next member of their team, making the championship a mix of individual cross country performance and team racing. The event forms part of the Scottish cross country championship season and brings together eligible athletes representing affiliated clubs from across the North District.
