The Rugby Half Marathon is organised by RunThrough and follows a road-closed course through Rugby and the surrounding Warwickshire countryside.
Starting at Hart Field, the route combines town-centre streets with clear country roads and gentle undulations before taking runners along sections of the disused Great Central Railway, now a linear nature reserve and recognised wildlife hotspot.
The event offers chip-timed results, free race photography, a unique themed finisher's medal and post-race goodies. Supportive marshals and distance markers guide runners around the course, while the event village provides food, drink, toilets and baggage facilities.
