The Rugby 10 Mile Road Race is organised by Rugby & Northampton Athletics Club and starts and finishes in the village of Barby near Rugby. The event attracts runners of all abilities looking for a rewarding autumn road race over the classic 10 mile distance, combining quiet country roads with a welcoming club atmosphere.
The accurately measured course follows an undulating route through the villages of Barby, Kilsby and Hillmorton before returning to the finish in Barby. Runners tackle the well known Cart Hill after six miles, together with a testing climb in the closing stages, following sections of the former Rugby Marathon course. Drinks stations are provided on the course and at the finish, with results available shortly after the race. With friendly organisation, scenic rural roads and a long established reputation, the Rugby 10 Mile Road Race remains one of the Midlands' most popular 10 mile events.
