'Ruddy' Rothwell's Cakeathon
Another of Grim's off-road colliery runs, the Cakeathon takes place within the Country Park and is a race that ends with cake!

With loads going on, you'll want to stick around even after your race is over. Collect your cake, your finisher's medal and enjoy the beautiful Rothwell Country Park.
Runners will be able to choose from six distances. The course will comprise a five-mile loop meaning runners are never far from the base and will feel well-supported.
The looped route is undulating in places but will be manageable for both beginners as well as experienced runners.
