The Oysho Royal Parks Half Marathon is a closed road Half Marathon created by The Royal Parks charity and held through central London and four of the capital's eight Royal Parks.
The 13.1 Mile course takes runners through Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens while also passing some of London's best-known landmarks. The combination of traffic free city streets, historic sights and extensive parkland creates one of the capital's most distinctive Half Marathon routes.
The event was established as a fundraising initiative for The Royal Parks while providing a major platform for charities across the UK. Participants have collectively raised more than £80 million for over 1,900 charities, with funds raised for The Royal Parks supporting the conservation and enhancement of London's green spaces, wildlife, historic monuments and educational programmes. Sustainability is also a significant part of the event's organisation and race day operations.
