Rothwell Kebabathon is a multi distance trail event starting at Leeds Skelton Lake Services and heading into Rothwell Country Park. Five distances are available, from 5 miles through to the Marathon, on a varied course featuring woodland, riverside paths, grass trails and short sections of road.
Runners follow a 5 mile trail loop through the country park, with longer distances completing multiple laps and the Marathon adding a short out and back section. The rolling route includes an undulation with views towards Leeds city centre, while water and feed stations are positioned approximately every three miles to support runners across the longer distances.
All finishers receive a bespoke medal along with a meat or vegetarian kebab, with hot and cold drinks available at the finish. The event has a 6.5 hour cut off and welcomes both runners and walkers, with free parking and full access to the facilities at Leeds Skelton Lake Services.
