The Rose of the Shires Ultra is a 54 Mile Ultra Marathon in Northamptonshire, starting and finishing at Brixworth Country Park. The circular route explores the county’s rural landscapes, passing through country parks, woodland, canalside paths and a series of picturesque villages.
This multi terrain event is made up mainly of trails, with additional sections on quiet roads and canal towpaths. Runners follow a varied course through open countryside, Salcey Forest and parts of established long distance routes including the Nene Way and Midshires Way.
