The Ron Hill University of Manchester Cross Country Relays is a long established event bringing university and running club teams together for competitive racing in Manchester.

First held in 1967, the relays were inspired by Manchester University runners competing at the Imperial College Hyde Park Relays. Olympians Ron Hill and John Whetton were among those involved in establishing the event, which has grown into a popular fixture on the university running calendar.

The races take place at Wythenshawe Sports Ground, with each runner completing a 3K cross country lap before passing the baton to a teammate. Women's teams comprise three runners, while men's and mixed teams have six runners. The event attracts teams from universities and running clubs across Britain, with prizes supported by Ronhill, the sportswear company named after the legendary athlete.
