The Rochford Remembrance Sunday 10 brings runners together for a 10 mile road race through Rochford and the surrounding Essex villages. Starting and finishing in Rochford Square, the route passes the town's War Memorial before heading into the countryside and returning to the heart of Rochford.
Runners follow a marshalled 10 mile course on open roads, with water stations positioned along the route and chip timing providing accurate results. The mix of town and countryside running creates a varied road race, with the central Rochford start and finish adding to the event atmosphere.
Held in connection with Remembrance Sunday, the event has a strong community focus and supports Help for Heroes through donations. Finishers receive a bespoke medal, with event photography and race day facilities also provided.
