Revesby Run Series is a new offering from Trident Sports Events where the emphasis is on inclusivity as well as a memorable running experience. There are 4 races in the series that began with the first on 7 November 2021, the second on 28 December 2021 and now the third on 6 March. Race 4 takes place on 29 May.
The first two races have been adults only but youngsters are now invited to join in the fun. Juniors aged 6 to 16 have the option of 2 Miles or 1 Mile and on the same course as used by the seniors. If they enjoy cross country they will feel right at home on the gravel track and grassy section with a marshalled turn point and their parents either running with them or cheering them on.
Junior races start at 9am (2 Miles) and 9.05am (1 Mile) followed by Seniors at 10am (10 Miles) and 10.10am (5 Miles).
Runners in the 5 and 10 Mile races warm up courtesy of ‘V Fitness’, walk to the start line then away they go. Around the grounds of Revesby Estate on tarmac, gravel, grass and trails in the company of other determined souls.
Then collect their medal and goody bag at the finish before recovering with a hot drink from Espresso Van-Gogh whilst sampling the baking at Sprinkles by Lucy.
