The Remembrance Run is a timed running challenge at Ferry Meadows in Nene Park, Peterborough. Participants have four or six hours to complete as many 5.3K laps as they choose, with the route following traffic free paths around the lakes and river.
Runners follow a flat mixed terrain loop made up predominantly of sealed park paths with a smaller section of trail and grass. With approximately 17 metres of climb per lap, straightforward navigation and an aid station available each time through base camp, the format supports distances from shorter runs through to marathon and ultra distances.
Race headquarters and base camp are located at the Lakeside Centre, which also serves as the start and lap point throughout the event. Runners can rest between laps before heading out again, making the event flexible for those targeting a particular distance or simply seeing how far they can run within the available time.
