The Readymoney Ramble is a coastal running event in Fowey, Cornwall, featuring 8K, 16K, 24K and 32K distances, alongside a four person team relay. Starting and finishing at Fowey Town Hall, the event takes participants through Readymoney Cove, along the South West Coast Path towards Polridmouth and back through the surrounding countryside.
The challenging 8K loop combines approximately 50% trail and 50% road, passing through coastal paths, fields, woodland and the streets of Fowey. Runners can complete one to four laps, with varied terrain and steep climbs throughout. The route is primarily self navigated using a supplied GPX file, with signage and marshals at selected locations.
There are no cut off times, allowing participants to complete their chosen distance at their own pace. Water and refreshments are available at the finish, with checkpoint support for runners completing multiple laps. Every finisher receives a medal, and awards are presented to the leading male and female runners in each distance.
