The Rattray Beaver Run is a Half Marathon and 10K based in Rattray, near Blairgowrie in Perthshire. Formerly known as the Rattray Blair Half Marathon and 10K, the event is organised by Blairgowrie and District Rotary, with both races starting and finishing near Rattray Primary School.
Runners can expect scenic and notably undulating courses through the surrounding countryside. Both routes are predominantly on quiet rural roads and have been accurately measured, while the Half Marathon also includes a short section of rough track towards the end. There are three water stations on the Half Marathon route and one on the 10K route.
The Half Marathon has a time limit of 3 hours 15 minutes, while the 10K has a 2 hour limit. Finishers receive a medal and buff, with post race refreshments and prizes adding to the event atmosphere.
