Ranger High Peak Ultra Postponed

The Ranger High Peak Ultra is a long distance trail running event through the Peak District, with 70K and 100K options sharing the same start and much of the same route. Rather than committing to a distance before setting off, participants reach the 35K point before choosing whether to turn back for the 70K or continue to the 50K turnaround to complete the 100K.

The out and back course provides a substantial endurance challenge while remaining accessible to runners and walk jog participants stepping up to longer ultra distances. The 70K route has around 1,316m of ascent, while the 100K extends the challenge to around 1,460m, with generous overall time limits allowing participants to approach the course at a sustainable pace.

Ranger Ultras provides checkpoints and refreshments along the route, navigation information and GPX files, with additional food and refreshments available at Race HQ after finishing. Finishers of both distances receive an eco medal, while the event's low key format places the emphasis on an inclusive and supportive long distance trail running experience.
